Varma and energy company St1 have signed a long-term lease agreement for office premises in The Node, a new office development under construction in Central Pasila, Helsinki. St1’s new offices will occupy floors 25–27 of the building, with a total area of approximately 3,600 sq m. Axiom Advisors Oy acts as Varma’s commercial advisor and project leasing partner for The Node development.
Scheduled for completion in spring 2028, The Node is a 32-storey office building rising approximately 130 metres, making it Finland’s tallest office building upon completion. Located immediately adjacent to the Mall of Tripla and Pasila railway station, the development offers businesses excellent accessibility, modern office premises and a comprehensive range of services.
St1 is The Node’s second major office tenant. A lease agreement with Elisa, the building’s anchor tenant, was signed before construction began. Interest in The Node has continued to grow as construction progresses, and negotiations are currently underway with several companies regarding new office premises.
Construction of The Node is progressing on schedule, with work on the tower’s floor structures already reaching the 29th floor. Companies entering lease negotiations at this stage still have the opportunity to select their preferred location within the building and influence the design and fit-out of their future offices.
